Manuscripts, uploaded documents, generated reports, and request metadata needed to provide editing services.
Checkout information such as full name, email address, phone number, country, full address, and postal code.
Payment status, subscription, invoice, discount, and transaction reference information.
Technical data such as IP address, browser metadata, security logs, and usage events needed to operate and protect the service.

How we use information

To provide proofreading, language editing, scientific review, similarity, and plagiarism-check services.
To create and manage subscriptions, payments, support requests, and service notifications.
To maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and improve service reliability.
To comply with payment, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations.

Manuscript confidentiality

Uploaded manuscripts are handled as confidential user content. We use them only to process the requested service, generate outputs, provide support, and maintain service integrity. We do not sell manuscripts or customer data.

Payment and checkout data

Checkout data is collected before payment so we can process orders, support payment review, and meet payment provider requirements. Card or bank credentials are processed by the selected payment provider and are not stored by p-editor.

Data retention

We retain account, subscription, support, and payment records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and maintain security. Uploaded files and generated outputs may be retained for service history and support unless deletion is requested or retention is otherwise required.

Your choices

You may contact support to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to identity verification and any records we must retain for legal, security, or payment reasons.
